About

I am passionate about helping you with your mental health so that you can have a better, more fulfilling life. We are all unique and will each struggle in our own way from time to time. I am here to work collaboratively with you to overcome whatever it is you are going through and create the life you wish for. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) – one of the UK’s leading professional associations for the counselling professions.

I am an Integrative Counsellor which means I work with a variety of therapeutic approaches to best suit your needs both within each session and throughout the course of therapy. Scientific research continues to show that one of the most important outcomes of successful therapy is the relationship between the therapist and the client and so my integrative therapeutic orientation is underpinned by a relational framework.

When counselling, I use three main therapeutic approaches: humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive. I may also incorporate elements from CBT, Mindfulness, Self-Compassion, Psychosexual Psychotherapy, DBT, Transactional Analysis (TA), Somatic Psychotherapy and Gestalt Dreamwork. I will create an individual, tailored therapy specifically for you!

I am also passionate about DBT Skills Training which has counselling as its foundation but is delivered in a more structured, psycho-educational way.
